Hollywood Player is Out! (And I’m a Terrible Publicist)

The red carpet is out, the reviews are coming in, and I completely forgot to tell the internet.

If there is one thing I’ve learned as a solo developer, it’s that when you’re busy playing God with the careers of digital actors, things like “marketing” and “website updates” tend to fall through the cracks. While I’ve been head-down fixing bugs and making sure the Lumiere Awards don’t glitch out, Hollywood Player actually went live on the App Store.

It’s been a long road from the initial concept to the deepest talent management simulation on mobile, but I’m incredibly proud (and slightly relieved) to say it’s finally in your hands.

So, what is it? In short: Your Agency. Their Legacy.

This isn’t a casual clicker where you just watch numbers go up. It’s a pure strategy game where you build an agency from the ground up. You’ll sign talent, manage their humanity (and their stress levels), and guide them through Film, TV, Theatre, and Commercials.

The highlights:

It’s been a project born of late nights and far too much caffeine, and seeing people start to discover the “optimal path” (or fail spectacularly in a blaze of tabloid glory) makes it all worth it.

If you haven’t picked it up yet, you can find it on the app store now.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a “PR Department” to fire. (It’s me. I’m firing myself. But I’ll probably hire myself back by tomorrow morning.)
